If you are eligible to participate in the employer contribution portion of the plan, the University will make "basic" and "matching" contributions on your behalf. Basic contributions are those made by the University on behalf of each eligible employee who is credited with a year of service during the plan year. The basic contribution is 5% of your base salary paid during the plan year.
